On Friday, Brooks and I played hookie and headed to Dimmitt. We went to the pep rally with Boo and then went out to the farm to see Pawpaw. Brooks had so much fun on the combine, cutting corn with Pawpaw . He had to drive it all by himself..."not you pawpaw." He wanted me, mom, and Caitlin to get off so just him and Pawpaw could ride but, we made the 20 min. round just fine.
On Saturday, Brooks, Cait, Boo, and I watched the Tech game... Go Red Raiders!! Pawpaw stopped by several times in his truck, when he would haul corn in to town. Brooks jumped in and rode with Pawpaw all by himself. He had so much fun!!! Brooks told me that he wanted to be a farmer, just like Pawpaw... sounds great to me , just call him Farmer Brooks.
