Happy Easter

What a beautiful Easter Sunday and such a wonderful day to celebrate Jesus!! We headed to church to listen to Boo play the keyboard... it was great! We had communion and Boo told Brooks that the grape juice was Jesus' blood that he shed for us... a little too much for a 4 year old because Brooks turned to her and said, "Ohhhhhhhhh yuck, you are drinking blood?" After church Brooks had to stay for the Easter egg hunt, we forgot our Easter basket at Boo and Pawpaw's but a Wal-Mart sack worked just as good. After church, Brooks headed straight to the backyard but the Easter bunny had not made it to Boo and Pawpaw's yet so we changed our clothes and guess what... all of the sudden the yard was covered with eggs. Brooks wasted no time and started shoveling the eggs in his basket as fast as he could......it's not a competition Brooks, you are the only one hunting :) While Brooks hunted eggs, Barrett had a great time laying and talking on a blanket under the tree. After gathering up all the eggs, Brooks found some more surprises inside. We had a wonderful Easter....lots of warm sun, no wind, wonderful family time (we sure missed our Cait and Linc but we did get to Skype with them), some good food, and a great nap for me and the boys and golf for daddy!Sweet boys...Daddy taught him how to pose..... My little punkin..... Brooks wanted to pose like "Jesus on the cross."Look at all those eggs....This is my kind of Easter egg hunt... laying in the shade on a sunny day
