One year + a half

My sweet bear bear, it is hard to believe that you are 18 months old today....what have you been up to?

• You weigh 21 pounds 7 ounces and are 33 inches tall.
• You wear size 4 diapers and size 18 month clothes......they fall off you but we have to buy 18 months so they will be long enough...hmmm, think we have that problem with some one else.... thank goodness for adjustable waist bands.
• You are a great eater... you usually eat more than your brother! You love cereal, waffles, turkey sausage, nanas, blueberries, oranges, macaroni, chicken, hot dogs, corn dogs, hamburgers, carrots, peas, corn, beans, sweet potatoes, cheetos, pizza, etc.... you are not picky at all!
• You have 7 teeth..... 4 on top and 3 on bottom, you are working on your 4th bottom tooth.
• You stay with Mrs. Amy during the day while mommy is at school and love playing with Kirby and Dane.
• You are a good sleeper and go down great with your pas and night-night around 8:00 but you sure are early to rise...... I think you just like to snuggle with momma from about 4am until she gets out of bed to run.
• You love your pas and night-night... You have two night-night's, one is your favorite little blue square that you brought home from the hospital with you when you were born. The other is your big soft blue and brown blankie that you have become attached to.
• You love to dance, the minute you hear any music you start jumping up and down and dancing all around.
• You love to be outside..... you will grab our hand and say"outside, outside".... once we get out we can't get you back in.
• You love to grab my hand and take me to all the places you want to go and explore... I love it!!
• You like to watch Little Einsteins and "pat, pat, pat, pat..... Blast off." You love to pat on your lap and throw your hands up in the air, "ast off."
• You do NOT like to sit in a shopping cart.... you think you are just as big as your brother and want to walk right beside him in the grocery store, Wal-Mart, and Target.
• You love to RUN..... you chase your brother everywhere..... you adore him and try to do everything just like him.
• Books are your favorite.... you will get a book and take it to anyone that will read it to you. Your brother is so sweet and loves to read books to you, he does not know the words just yet but he sure has a photographic memory from when I read a book to him or he just makes up a story by looking at the pictures.... before long he will be able to read you any book you want him to.
• Your favorite toys are a bat and ball.
• You talk non-stop..... most of the words I understand and some you talk in complete sentences of jibberish but you know exactly what you are telling me. You can say so many words.....momma, dadda, brooks, bubba, boo, pawpaw, cait cait, linc, nanny, please, thank you, welcome, pas, night-night, Abby, dog, bird, cow, duck, horse, cat, puppy, swing, blueberry, milk, juice, yuck, jump, book, ball, bat, up... and many more.
• You can count to 5 and think it is so fun when I begin to tell Brooks. "1..." and you finish it for me, "2....3"
• You love to Skype with "tait tait and inc" and boo and pawpaw. You get so excited when we talk to them on the computer.
• When it is time to go you love to wave bye-bye and blow kisses to everyone...... sweet boy
• You copy everything your brother does..... you try to be just like him!!
• You love animals and love to make their sounds.....cow, puppy, "abbitt," horse, cat, duck, bear....
• You are a great pirate "Arrrrrrrrrrgh"..... might have something to do with the ECU pirates:)
• You are all boy.... you love to make car sounds, train sounds, and gun sounds.... you love the dirt!
• I have to admit.... Pawpaw is your favorite:)
• You are so funny and have your own funny, mischievous, precious personality!

I love you so much Barrett......but please slow down.... stop growing so fast!!!
