What a perfect day!
Brooks woke up to Hot Wheels streamers covering up his door. He thought they were so cool and busted right through them.
He ate oatmeal and strawberries for breakfast on the special birthday plate.
Boo brought him Chick-fil-A for lunch. He got to invite his friend Drew to sit with him at the special birthday table.
Brooks chose donuts as his special snack of the day in Mrs. Schmidt's room. Before they ate they got in a circle and Brooks got to choose 6 friends to stand around him in a circle and be his "candles." He thought that was awesome :)
After school Brooks got to open some presents from Boo and Pawpaw... he was so excited and so appreciative of everything he got.
Brooks opened the door to his room and discovered six balloons with six special notes hanging from them, some from daddy, some from momma, and some from Barrett.
We waited patiently for daddy to get home to open presents..... there was one surprise that could not fit in a sack.... a new bike!! He was so proud and braved the cold to ride a few laps around the neighborhood.

Brooks, I hope you had a wonderful birthday. You are such a sweet boy and have such a sweet heart. I am so proud of you! I love you to the moon, the stars, and back!
