My Little Incredible

Today was Brooks' first ever soccer game.....he had a blast! He is playing Upward Soccer and is on The Little Incredible's team. We had lots of laughs and had so much fun watching him... nothing like a bunch of 4 year olds trying to kick the ball down the field and into the net :) Brooks did great! He dribbled the ball down the field and scored... yea!! In Upward they do not keep score so after the game Brooks kept asking me if they won or lost... maybe he is a little competitive, who would have thought :) I tried to avoid the conversation and told him what an awesome job he did and how proud I was of him and he said, "Mom, just tell me - we lost because they scored a lot more goals than we did"... such a hard lesson but you won't win every time. Go Brookies Go!! Brookies we were so proud of you today.... you did awesome!! We are looking forward to a fun soccer season!
