Barrett got to go to Frenship baseball camp with Brooks this year and he was pumped. He thinks he is 6 foot tall, with his strut and attitude, but he held his own with the big boys and did great! I think Brooks secretly liked him being there too ;) We love baseball, love our Frenship Tigers, and we love our Coach "Roby" (daddy)!

Happy Mother's Day❤️
Blessed beyond measure with a beautiful mom and two precious boys that call me momma!
It started with breakfast in bed from my sweet Brookies...
...and an afternoon of baseball in the backyard... I wouldn't have it any other way...No greater JOY💙

Ted Williams
My third grade class presented a "Historical Hero Living Museum." Each child had to research one historical hero and come to life. Brooks chose Ted Williams, turns out they both have several things in common :)
Hi, my name is Theodore Samuel Williams, most people know me as Ted Williams or “The Splendid Splinter.” I was born in San Diego, California on August 30, 1918. When I was in high school I got two offers to play baseball for the Yankees and Giants in the major leagues. My mom said I was too young to leave the house so I signed with the local minor league team, the San Diego Padres. I caught the eye of Bill Lane and became a member of the Boston Redsox in December 1937.I am just as well known for serving my country as I am for being a star MLB baseball player. I served as a Navy pilot in WWII and a Marine combat pilot in the Korean War. During my 19 years playing left-field with the Sox, I earned six batting titles, was the league’s home run and RBI champ four times, captured the Triple Crown twice, and was a 17 time All-Star. In 1941, I finished the season with a .406 batting average, being the last and oldest player ever to top the 400 mark and lead the league in batting. I was the best hitter the game had ever seen.
I hung up my cleats for good in September 1960 after hitting a home run into Fenway Park’s bleacher seats in my final at bat. I died of a stroke in July 2002.
Here are some fun facts:
-I was a left fielder
-I threw right and hit left
-I wore #9
-I am in the Hall of Fame

Barrett's First Story
"I like to make a snow man and sno balls on kode days. I like to dress riley warm. I like to drink hot choklit with marshmelows."

a little day surgery....
and hernia repair for my Bear Bear....
a little game of Mario Cart while waiting to go back to surgery....
my sweet boy... he asked lots of questions and was a little apprehensive of an IV and luckily none of that was done until he got a mask that put him to sleep :) As he was rolled to the operating room, with tears rolling down my face, the nurses kept assuring me "we will take good care of him momma"....it sure was hard to walk the other direction from that precious face but so easy to run down the hall when I got the call from the recovery room saying I could come see him.....
He had lots of good company, balloons and toys when he got out of recovery...
Brooks, Daddy, Boo and Pawpaw were all waiting to see the little man.
On our way home..... just 6 hours after we arrived!! We have one tough boy!
